Hand building is a much older process than wheel throwing. Hand building includes various pottery-making techniques like coil, slab, pinch, tile press, extrude and sculpture. I have been teaching hand built ceramics and decoration techniques for over 10 years and the aim of my workshops is to engage my students over the whole process of creating their own exclusive piece.
