How do I change the status of a purchase order?

Your purchase order status represents the current status of the purchase order in your business flow.

PlanetSoho allows you to set your purchase order status to any one of the following:

  • Created: your purchase order has been created, but not yet sent to your vendor
  • Sent: you have sent your purchase order to your vendor
  • Approved: the purchase order has been approved by your vendor
  • Cancelled: your purchase order has been cancelled
  • Delivered: your vendor has delivered your order, but you have not yet received it
  • Received: you have received your order in full

To change the status of a purchase order, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the P.O. tab on the far right.
  2. Select your estimate from the All My Purchase Orders list.
  3. Under the Status field, click on the current status.
  4. Select the new purchase order status.
  5. Click on the orange Save button.
